Daniela De Pasquale

Daniela has been dedicated to intellectual and industrial property rights and new technology law for more than 20 years.

She assists her clients in trademark, patent, design, and copyright matters, both in relation to litigation and anti-counterfeiting as well as out-of-court. She has consolidated experience in music industry rights and collective rights management societies. She combines these skills with an in-depth knowledge of new technology law, media, advertising, consumer law, e-commerce, and travel law.

She is an expert in the valorization and protection of industrial and intellectual property assets and know-how, also with reference to typical start-up issues, and in the legal support to industrial research and development activities.

Over the years, thanks to its domestic and international clients operating in the online services and content sector, she has specialized in assisting the digital industry and supporting companies that are engaged in digital transformation, an area where the protection of intellectual property is combined with Information Technology and whose latest frontier is now represented by the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence.

She has published several articles in Italian and foreign specialized publications. She teaches training courses on intellectual property, publishing and e-commerce.

Daniela is secretary-treasurer of the Technology Committee of the International Bar Association, for which she regularly organizes sessions and is a member of the copyright working group of AIPPI and other specialized jurist associations.

She is a member of the International Relations Commission of the Milan Bar Association (CRINT) and guardian of the Italian National Chamber of Fashion Trust (CNMI Fashion Trust).

For many years she has been included in the Who’s Who Legal directory as a “leading individual” with expertise in Information Technology.

Pior to joining Ughi e Nunziante, Daniela co-founded a boutique firm dedicated to the protection of ideas and content and to the world of innovation and digital technologies.
